Please note, by booking a course or class with me or buying a product, you are agreeing to be bound by my terms and conditions.

I reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes are effective as soon as they are posted on the website. It is your responsibility to check the terms and conditions whenever you use the website or online booking system. Your continued use of the website will signify your acceptance of the latest terms and conditions.

Cancellation Policy

Places on private courses and classes are limited to one person, booked on a specific date or series of dates. The date(s) will be agreed between you and I before you book and pay. Once you pay, the dates are guaranteed for you. I regret that I cannot offer refunds if you are unable to attend the dates you have booked or you change your mind.

I am happy to transfer your booking to another date if you are unable to attend the date you have booked for any reason, but the class must be taken within three months of the original date(s) unless otherwise agreed with me. Only one change of date will be accepted and if you cannot attend the rescheduled date, you forfeit your payment and no further date changes will be allowed.

The only time I will issue a refund is in the following circumstances: –

• If I have to move the class dates and you cannot commit to the new dates.
• If the government prohibits travel away from your home in your local area.
• If the government imposes restrictions which prevent people traveling. 

Proof that one of the above instances is your reason for cancelling will be required to generate a refund and an admin fee of £50 will be deducted from the refund amount. 

If you are booked on a class or course and you do not turn up on the day for any reason without contacting me before it runs, no refund will be given.

Please always phone to let me know if you can’t attend or are going to be late. If you arrive later than the agreed time, the class will still finish at the original time. I will not extend the finish time if you do not arrive on time.

The class descriptions on the website explain the content of the class, the level of previous experience required and any additional costs or purchases you may incur in attending the class. It is your responsibility to ensure you book on a relevant class and fully understand what is involved, additional costs you will have to pay and the terms and conditions before you book. The content of bespoke classes is discussed with you before booking, either by phone or email. Please make sure you fully understand the content and costs of a bespoke class before booking. By booking and paying for a class, you confirm your agreement to these terms.

Health and Safety Rules

If you turn up and I consider you to be incapable of working safely due to alcohol, drugs or general ill-health or fatigue, the class will be cancelled with no refund. I reserve the right to exclude any student I feel may be a danger to themselves.

All the classes are professionally run and some involve hot work using butane torches, chemicals and/or acids, spinning equipment and/or heavy tools. Students must come dressed appropriately for this environment. Closed in shoes, NO SANDALS, FLIP FLOPS ETC are allowed in the studio. Floaty, flammable fabrics should not be worn, dangling sleeves, scarves etc are also a hazard. Aprons are available in the studio to protect your clothes but it is prudent to wear clothes you are not worried about getting dirty.

Some activities require you to wear protective goggles and/or masks. All health and safety rules must be observed at all times. If you arrive at the studio wearing inappropriate clothes or open shoes/sandals you will not be allowed to participate in activities involving hot work, chemicals or heavy tools. This is for your safety so please ensure you have a professional approach when you attend my classes.

I strongly suggest you take out travel insurance and check if this covers the class costs should you have to cancel.

If I have to cancel a class or course

Occasionally I may have to cancel a course. You will always be offered the choice of an alternative date or a refund. I will give you as much notice as possible, however, I cannot be held responsible for your travel or accommodation costs.

When you book a place you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.
